2:50 p.m., May 26 — Another son of Micronesia was killed in the War on Terror. Isuo Uruo, 28, formerly of Agana Heights was killed in Iraq. Family members said Uruo was stationed out of Fort Lewis, Kentucky and was in Kuwait last year. Military officials told the family yesterday of Uruo’s death. Uruo is the 21st serviceman from Micronesia to be killed since the War on Terror began, according to Pacific Daily News files.

Marshalls’ new hospital has big price tag
MAJURO — The largest government-funded project in the history of the Marshall Islands — a new hospital — will be built in Majuro over the next five years. But the initial price tag raised red flags for both Marshall Islands and United States government officials, forcing a possible $10 million reduction in the overall cost. Majuro Hospital administrator Sandy Alfred unveiled the plan this week for what is estimated to be a 120-bed, approximately $30 million project — largely funded by the United States.
